The Fires

The Fires

The main story

This new year has been one of biblical proportions in devastation.
I personally survived two fires near me, one being the Airport Fire shortly before the L.A. fires.
Unfortunately, many of my neighbors were not so lucky.
I was not able to go home for 10 days and thank God I had my dog with me.
I had no power for eight days during the L.A. fires due to the high winds.
I can certainly relate to the pain and stress of living through this trauma.

One of the things we all need to keep in mind is the downstream effect that breathing in this toxic soup may have on our future health.
One of the more interesting theories regarding Covid was the association and timing of the outbreak and what was affecting the world at the time.

World Wide Wild Fires.........

Remember at the initial outbreak of Covid,  Australia saw unprecedented wild fires raging for weeks.
Immediately after that we saw the horrible California wild fires, at the time the worst on record.

What do these fires have in common?
They both released tons and tons of particulate matter, one being, cyanide into the atmosphere.
Remember, what goes up in the air dissipates around the world.
My father worked for a time in the Atmospheric Sciences dept at OSU, Oregon State University.
I remember him telling me that when we analyze air samples over Oregon that they could find sand from the Saraha Desert....
Many experts stated that the symptoms of Covid were very similar to cyanide poisoning.
Interestingly we saw the initial outbreak of Covid in the Southern Hemisphere, (Australia) followed by the outbreak in the Northern Hemisphere, California.
Causative?  Correlative, for sure!

Do we need to be concerned that we will have a repeat?
Health experts are already saying this is turning out to be a very bad flu season.
I certainly don't advocate panic, but it sure makes sense to be somewhat proactive in any case.
I would apply what we learned to be effective with the last outbreak which is mainly,
  • Vit, D with K2
  • Vit. C, Zinc and B12
  • Exercise in sunlight as much as possible
  • Control alcohol intake
  • Reduce stress as much as possible
  • Breathing exercises such as the Wim Hoff method
  • Chiropractic Manipulation (Shown to normalize sympathetic overload which affects inflammation)
One of the harsher things I've seen thrown around is the uncompassionate banter from politicians is the conditions that should be placed on any aid given to those devastated by the fires.
Funny, when the hurricanes that recently affected the South, the only thing I ever heard from Californians was,

How can we help!

I would suggest, that one possible condition would be that if you are going to rebuild, than in order to get a building permit you would have to install ember proof ventilation systems.
It has been estimated that 90 to 95% of the destruction done could have been avoided by this one $200 -$300 fix.
The proof is that the company that installed these systems in the houses in Pacific Palisades kept records of who had these.
Guess how many of those houses burned?
One................And that was because their neighbors chimney collapsed onto their house!

I would also think it wise to mandate fire retardant roofs.

If you or a loved one are dealing with back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, leg pain, carpal tunnel, or headaches. We can help.
