What We Offer

Evidence-based
paths to recovery

Every service at My Pain Fix is selected for its clinical efficacy and adapted to your individual structure, history, and goals. Nothing we do is one-size-fits-all.

Chiropractic Adjustment

Head-to-toe manipulation.

Chiropractic adjustment applies controlled, targeted force to spinal and extremity joints that have become restricted in movement. Restrictions can result from tissue injury from a single traumatic event or from repetitive stress. At My Pain Fix, manipulation is not limited to the spine — we work head-to-toe, addressing the shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, and feet to restore proper joint mechanics throughout the entire kinetic chain.

Key Benefits

  • Head-to-toe joint manipulation, not just the spine
  • Immediate reduction in joint restriction and stiffness
  • Decreased nerve irritation and associated referred pain
  • Improved postural alignment and nervous system function

Great For

Back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, postural dysfunction, joint stiffness, extremity restrictions

ART — Active Release Technique

Far beyond deep tissue massage.

Active Release Technique is a highly specific method of dealing with fibrotic tissue adhesions that cause pain and restrict normal motion between soft-tissue structures. Healthy tissue is smooth and slippery, allowing muscles, nerves, and blood vessels to move freely. Adhesions act like sticky tape — they cling rather than slide. ART practitioners locate the involved tissue through anatomical knowledge and sensitive palpation, then release the adhesion to restore proper function. Treatments may be uncomfortable at first as tissues are stretched, but soreness typically resolves within 36 hours.

Key Benefits

  • Releases fibrotic adhesions in muscle, nerve, tendon, ligament, and fascia
  • Restores smooth gliding between tissue layers
  • Treats carpal tunnel, sciatica, tendonitis, trigger points, myofascitis
  • Highly specific to your individual anatomy — never a templated protocol

Great For

Back & neck pain, carpal tunnel, sciatica, tendonitis, muscle strains, fibromyalgia, bursitis, trigger points

Sports-Based Recovery

Pro protocols. Open to everyone.

Our sports-based recovery protocols are adapted from the same science used by professional sports medicine teams. You don't have to be a pro athlete to benefit from the same recovery science — these protocols are equally effective for the weekend warrior, the recovering office worker, and the desk-bound parent. We combine manual therapy, targeted soft-tissue work, and active rehabilitation exercises to reduce post-training inflammation, restore range of motion, address compensation patterns before they become injuries, and optimize your return to peak performance — at whatever level peak means for you.

Key Benefits

  • Same protocols used by professional sports medicine teams
  • Effective for everyone — not just competitive athletes
  • Faster recovery between workouts, weekend activities, or daily life
  • Sport-specific (or life-specific) biomechanical optimization

Great For

Recreational and competitive athletes, weekend warriors, active adults, anyone recovering from overuse

Corrective Care & Nutrition

Structural correction. Internal fuel.

Corrective care programs are structured, multi-visit treatment plans designed to systematically address the underlying biomechanical causes of recurring pain and dysfunction. But structure is only half the picture — tissue rebuilds from what you eat. Every corrective care patient receives personalized nutritional guidance designed to reduce systemic inflammation, accelerate healing, and promote radiant health. Cutting-edge rehabilitation exercises are prescribed based on your individual needs, coupled with nutritional requirements to optimize not only accelerated healing but also long-term resilience.

Read: Why structure plus nutrition outperforms either alone →

Key Benefits

  • Structural correction of chronic misalignments
  • Personalized nutrition guidance to fuel tissue recovery
  • Anti-inflammatory dietary protocols to support healing
  • Long-term reduction in pain recurrence

Great For

Chronic back or neck pain, recurring injury patterns, posture correction, whiplash, post-injury rebuilding

Functional Movement

Your foundation, scanned and corrected.

Functional movement assessment identifies asymmetries, limitations, and compensatory patterns in your movement quality. Along with a digital scan of your feet (your foundation), we customize orthotics, and provide a posture screening, to calculate a customized corrective pillow tailored to your structure — restoring proper alignment while you sleep. By pinpointing where your movement breaks down and where your foundation is misaligned, we address dysfunction before it becomes injury — and build a treatment plan that makes you more resilient, not just less painful.

Key Benefits

  • Digital scan of feet (your foundation) and posture
  • Customized corrective pillow calculated to your structure
  • Identification of injury risk factors before symptoms appear
  • Personalized corrective exercise prescription

Great For

New patients (standard intake), athletes, active adults, injury prevention, postural correction

Graston & Rapid Release

Instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization.

Graston Technique uses specially designed stainless steel instruments to re-initiate the inflammatory response and complete healing from injuries or repetitive strain — inflammation, when controlled, is essential to recovery. Rapid Release is a cutting-edge high-tech instrument that oscillates at 170 cycles per second to painlessly soften and release scar tissue and adhesions. We frequently combine these techniques with ART for enhanced results in treating muscle-related pain affecting the shoulders, neck, back, knees, and legs. Research from institutions such as Ball State has validated their effectiveness for muscular pain management.

Key Benefits

  • Detects and breaks down fascial restrictions and scar tissue
  • Rapid Release oscillation at 170 Hz — painless and precise
  • Faster resolution of chronic, treatment-resistant conditions
  • Improved range of motion in restricted areas

Great For

IT band syndrome, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff injuries, post-surgical scar tissue, tendonitis, tendonosis

Spinal Decompression — Cox Technique

Non-surgical disc and nerve relief.

An evidence-based therapy for back pain, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and leg pain caused by disc herniation. A specialized treatment table decompresses the spine — which naturally compresses with age or trauma — creating a vacuum effect that draws fluid and nutrients back into the discs, increasing disc height and reducing pressure on the sensitive nerves responsible for your pain. The Cox Technique table is unique in enabling flexion and lateral flexion in addition to standard decompression, allowing precise targeting of specific problem areas that conventional decompression tables cannot reach. Imaging studies before and after treatment have demonstrated measurable increases in disc height.

Key Benefits

  • Non-surgical treatment for disc herniation and spinal stenosis
  • Vacuum effect rehydrates spinal discs
  • Cox table allows flexion and lateral targeting
  • Measurable disc height improvements documented in imaging

Great For

Disc herniation, spinal stenosis, sciatica, facet joint back pain, leg pain from nerve compression

Navy Seal Icing Protocol

Contrast therapy for acute injury.

Developed by the Department of the Navy for acute injuries, this contrast therapy alternates heat and ice to drive both vasoconstriction and vasodilation — the contraction and expansion of blood vessels that flush inflammation and restore circulation. The sequence: 5 min heat / 1 min ice, 4 min heat / 1 min ice, 3 min heat / 1 min ice, 2 min heat / 1 min ice, 1 min heat / 1 min ice. Use moist heat (heating pad with foam sleeve, hot bath, or hot tub). The same protocol works for chronic pain as well — research indicates alternating hot and cold can improve post-workout recovery by roughly 30 percent.

Key Benefits

  • Drives vasoconstriction and vasodilation in alternation
  • Flushes acute inflammation from injured tissue
  • Used by the U.S. Navy for acute athletic injury
  • Approximately 30% faster post-workout recovery

Great For

Acute injuries, post-workout soreness, chronic pain flares, recovery between training sessions
